Regatta MARINADA 2010

Once again Burin Yachting Club with cooperation with Slovenian Sailing Federation has organized the biggest nautical event on Slovenian coast, regatta, Marinada 2010. Seventh traditional regatta will host sailboats in classes Open, SeaScape, J24 and Melges 24. The event will take place on Saturday, May 15th 2010. The regatta will start in Izola and finish in Portorož where a concert of the hottest Slovenian pop group Hazard and afterparty will follow.

Friday - 14.05.2010
17:00: reception and entries of competitors and giving instructions about sailing
19:00: ceremonius opening of regatta Marinada

Saturday - 15.05.2010
07.30 am: reception and entries of competitors and giving instructions about sailing
08.00 am: Last minute entries fot regatta in Marina Izola - Amfora
09.30 am: End of entries in Marina Izola
09.45 am: Skippers meeting
11.55 am: Warning signal for regatta start in front of Marina Izola
12.00 am: START OF THE REGATTA (IZOLA–PORTOROŽ)

PORTOROŽ

Finish of the regatta is in front of the main peer in Portorož
04.00 pm: End of the regatta (time limit for sailboats is four hours)
04.30 pm: Return and inspection of returned sailboats

AUDITORIUM PORTOROŽ

06.00 pm: Congress room, Auditorium – welcome drink and cold snacks for competitors, Burin Yachting Club members, sponsors and journalists
07.30 pm: Announcement of results regatta MARINADA 2010 with awards ceremony
09.00 pm: HAZARD concert
11.30 pm: End of program

The filled out application form shall be submitted to the organizer and the entry fee paid no later then May 10th before 12.00 am. The entry fee is the same for all participating sail boats:
